Definitions for Listing Types
Condo or Condominium: A single-residential unit that's housed within a larger building, having several units per floor, so you may have other units above, below, or next to you.
Townhouses: Typically two or three stories tall and share walls with the next-door properties, but they don’t have any units above or below them.
Cottage: A small, simple house typically near a lake or beach.
Shared Housing (House Share, Apartment Share): Two or more people who live in one permanent rental housing unit, sharing costs associated with maintaining housing such as rent and utilities.
Studio: A studio apartment is a small space (typically about 600 square feet) with one open room except for the bathroom and perhaps a closet.
Efficiency: An efficiency is smaller than a studio.
Room: Either a sublet or a room rented from the owner of the property who also lives on-site.
